Help & Resources
Did you know that the same vehicle can have three to four different seat options?
Knowing which seat style configuration you have will help during the ordering process.
Below are descriptions of most of the seat styles available. There may be slight differences, but generally they are described as follows:
Sixty forty (60/40)
When either the seat cushion and/or the backrests are split unevenly. The larger portion would be the 60 section and the other 40.
Fifty-fifty (50/50)
When either the seat cushion and/or the backrests are split equally.
Forty-twenty-forty (40/20/40)
When there is a seat in the middle of the passenger and driver seats. In some vehicles, you can fold the middle seat down to become a center console. The 20 section would be the middle seat / console and the passenger and driver seats are the 40's.
One third-two third (1/3-2/3)
This is similar to the 60/40 seat style, but has a fold down center arm between the passenger and driver seats.
Bench
This is a seat with a solid backrest and solid bottom cushion. Some bench seats have a pull-out armrest.
Buckets
Pair of single seats that are at shoulder height (low back buckets) with adjustable headrests or a high back, which has a molded headrest. Captains are bucket seats with small armrests either on both sides of the seat or just the insides.
